The Suitcase Replacement Preamp is based on FERRO, unserem Standalone Vorverstärker für alle Vintage Keys. Er ist ausgestattet mit einem klassischen 2-bandigen Baxandall-Equalizer, einem zuschaltbaren Tiefpassfilter sowie einem optischen Stereo-Tremolo mit umschaltbaren Wellenformen.
Furthermore we have integrated a powerful DSP with a total of eight effects. This enhances the musical possibilities greatly.
The Suitcase Replacement Preamp ist als „Drop-In“-Vorverstärker für kompatible Fender Rhodes Suitcase-Modelle konzipiert und benötigt eine externe Stromversorgung. Solltest du den Vorverstärker mit einem Stage-Piano nutzen wollen, so bieten wir optional SideTwix . SideTwix is a power supply for all 5-pin preamps. It comes with a headphone amp as well.

Hi again, how is it if I install your new preamp in my Mark2 suitcase? I will buy a Stage kit from Vintage Vibe so I don´t need to use the speaker cabinet on stage. Will the new preamp work with Stage kit from Vintage Vibe? Maybe you also selling this kit including pedal to? See link and let me know. My original Janus pre-amp failed. Rather than just re-capping it, I decided to try this Tines and Reeds pre-amp,
and I’m so glad that I did.
The T&R Suitcase Preamp fits perfectly into the front-panel mount. If you’re original power supply is OK, it can
power the pre without problems.
The T&R pre-amp is a beautiful sounding pre-amp and brings out sounds from the Rhodes that my Janus Pre-amp
didn’t. I love the MkI/MkII switch that allows you to change the response. The FX choices are great and means that
you don’t have to have external Fx boxes to add reverb and delay (and other Fx settings it provides).
I am super happy with this pre-amp and think T&S’s design is excellent. Money well spent.
